Doctors

Tue Nov 29, 2005, 7:45 AM
There are doctors and then there are healers. But before I go into that I want to elaborate on money. What does money bring you? Stuff. What does stuff bring you? ........... Exactly. When you die, the things you have will mean nothing...nothing but a burden for those who must deal with it. Buddhists seek happyness and find it through enlightenment. Well they didn't get enlightened but buying shit. The inspiration to create those things or just art came from the earth anyways. So why not turn to the earth for beauty and happiness? Why not find happiness within yourself so that you could remain happy no matter what?

Now most people who become doctors not only have a passion for medicine, but also want to make MONEY!! Medicine, which was once a type of art, has turned into a buisness. A buisness which irritates the wealthy and brings the poor to their knees. You will find doctors in such a buisness.

A healer on the other hand has the passion but is knowledgeable of the responsibility that passion brings. There are monay people in dire need for care who also well deserve this care. For those who follow their passions and gain further knowledge of it posses power. By becoming a doctor you have been given enormous power over others for you now understand what they are on a deeper biological level. You gain the power to heal and destroy.

The words you always hear on Spiderman is, "With great power means greater responsibility." This is true for doctors as well. I believe that with that knowledge and passion, we are responsible for the one we let die or suffer. Medicine should be an art of healing, not a big pay check.

How many people in this world will actually seek to end their selfishness. Practically no one. My question is, how have we even learned to get along with each other if we can't let go of the stupid things like that and grudges. Again, it won't happen. Therefore, though we had a chance to make our world into a utopia but never did, we will either die from disease, kill each other, or starve because we have no more natural resources.

In the end the earth will win because the earth always finds a way to produce life in a valley of death. Nature gives the perfect amount of love. It will provide us with what we need and destroy what we don't. If nature kills us it is only because it is our time to die. Maybe I'll just live the rest of my life alone in the country.
